Along with its famous Bastide Towns, Sarlat, Domme, Roque Gageac, Castelnaud, Beynac, Rocamadour and some of the World’s most famous and spectacular caverns such as the Lascaux caves and Gouffre de Padirac ; home to some of Mankind’s earliest human European settlers, are close at hand and within an easy drive.
Nestled in the broad leaf forests of the Céou Valley, with its massive array of flora, fungi and fauna of all shapes and sizes Dordogne Glamping is the perfect base from which to walk out or cycle the huge web of quiet and shaded lanes and ancient paths which criss-cross the surrounding countryside.

You can Kayak or Canoe down the Dordogne river, past the ancient fortresses of Richard the Lionheart and Simon de Monfort, pausing to picnic along the way, or take an early morning or evening hot air balloon flight above the elegant renaissance châteaux, which stand like sentinels above the Dordogne’s rivers.
Tucked neatly between the vineyards of the Vin de Domme and the home of Malbec there are local wines to suit every palette and pocket.
Our local village of Bouzic, hosts one of the Dordogne’s most vibrant Marchés Gourmand, every Tuesday evening during July and August and can be walked from Dordogne Glamping.
Each Tent has either a view looking towards the pool or over the valley to the limestone hillside in the distance.
Each Tent is fully equipped, individually furnished & includes all bed linen. Please note towels are not included.
For those hot, balmy Dordogne days, why not take a dip in the pool or just chill out around the pool or under a tree with your favourite book or a glass of local wine.
With over five acres of Dordogne Glamping to explore and numerous walks and bike trails, historical villages and chateaux, horse riding, kayaking & hot air balloning over the beautiful Dordogne countryside in the immediate vicinity.
